The roller coaster starts with little KE because it is only moving a little bit and it has no GPE because it hasn’t started going up the hill yet. At point one, the rollercoaster has max GPE and minimum KE because it is as high as it can go and it can't go any higher and it isn't moving so it has no KE. At point two, the rollercoaster has max KE and min GPE because it is moving very fast and it is closer to the ground so it has no GPE. At point three, the rollercoaster is gaining GPE and loosing KE because the coaster is getting higher off the ground and it is slowing down so it is loosing KE. At point four, the rollercoaster has a little bit more GPE than KE because the coaster is just about to go back down and it is still moving a little bit and it isn't at its highest hill on the ride which was at point one so it has a little bit more GPE than KE. At point five, the rollercoaster has max KE and is gaining GPE because it is starting to go up the hill. Finally, at point six, the rollercoaster has 50% GPE and 50% KE because it is on a hill that is half the size that the first one is.
